The Refektorium is the former dining quarters of the Benedictine monks. Using the authentic plans it was renovated in 1982 and since then has been shining in its original form.

The room is painted in a Berlin blue, an old pink and a lead white, with historic paintings showing the history of the founder of the abbey. The portray of St. Benedict’s life in stucco formed medallions is very impressing. All of the displayed paintings are identical to the original ones.
