Amorbach has been the home of the royal family of Leiningen since 1803. Its history and historical architecture demonstrates its rich past. Amorbach was created a town in 1253 and has many historical buildings. It's a spa and one of the most charming towns in the region.

While walking through its baroque old part of town, you will see the Benedictine Abbey, the Temple house (1291), the old Town Hall (1478), the "Seegarten" and the Berger art gallery.
